It is a matter of pride and pleasure to wish every citizen of this country a Happy Republic Day. It was seventy-one years back that the heart of the ‘Constitution’ which ‘We’, the people of India, gave to ourselves, started to beat and infused life and spirit to our nation - ‘Bharat’. It is a hard-earned sovereignty which our forefathers have handed down to us so as to create an India of their dreams – an India, where every Indian enjoys a life with dignity, equality, justice, liberty and fraternity. The realization of this dream requires a very strong foundation on education. Our role, therefore, as educators are immense. It is not merely to teach students the curricula provided but to instill in them the moral and ethical values on which our cultures are based, the founding principles of our Republic and to guide and work with them towards building a nation that is envisaged in the Preamble of our Constitution. So, let us all take a pledge to discharge this responsibility towards our nation with dedication, sincerity and faithfully.
Jai Hind!
