GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ADMISSION
Candidates seeking admission to the Masters degree course should have passed the relevant qualifying examination and fulfill the ‘Eligibility Requirements’. Further details are available in the admission brochure.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The selection of the candidates for admission to the Psychology course is made on the basis of their performance in an Admission Test conducted by the Department. The Written Test consists of objective type questions covering basic knowledge in the subject of Psychology at the undergraduate level. Based on the performance in the Written test, eligible candidates will be called for interview. A. The multiple choice questions would be drawn from the following areas : (a) General Psychology (b) Social Psychology (c) Statistics (d) Abnormal/ Clinical Psychology (e) Industrial & Organizational Psychology (f)Developmental Psychology
Fifty percent seats will be reserved for B.A. (H), B.A. (P) / B.A. Program of Delhi University students and will be filled up on the basis of merit. Candidates are, however, advised to take Entrance Test and Interview as well for determination of merit.
Candidates getting less than 40% marks in the Entrance Exam will not qualify for the interview.
Candidates will be selected for admission in order of merit prepared on the basis of following weightage:
