Hans Raj College was established by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee in 1948 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Hans Raj. The college seek inspiration from Mahatmaji’s dedication & selfless service to education.
Hans Raj College, an institution par excellence, is the pride of Delhi University. A prestigious and progressive educational institution of India. Hans Raj College is one of the top ten Colleges among the 12,600 Colleges of India and easily one of the most sought after Colleges in Delhi University.
This College 30 student of got first, 26 second and 29 got third position in the University examinations held in 2009-2010. Students from this college awarded Science Meritorious Scholarship. 10 students got Gold Medals in various University examinations. In the field of Sports our students participated in various inter-college and inter-university competitions and won championship.
