The Pro-Vice Chancellor is appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice Chancellor. The Pro-Vice Chancellor performs such duties and exercises such functions and powers as the Vice Chancellor may specify generally or in individual cases and assists the Vice Chancellor on all academic and administrative matters. When the Vice Chancellor is on leave or is away from town, the Pro-Vice Chancellor performs the functions of the Vice Chancellor. |
