R&D Grants to Faculty

Faculty Research Grants
Two new schemes for facilitating the research and field work of the faculty of the University have been introduced.

To support the research of newly recruited faculty members, a seed grant of Rs 4 lacs for Science departments and Rs. 1.5 lacs for other departments has been instituted.

In addition, all University faculty members are entitled to apply for an annual research grant of Rs. 2.5 lacs in Sciences and Rs. 1 lac in other disciplines.
