University of Delhi joins the Nation in condoling the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh, Former Prime Minister of India.

 

An economist par excellence, a renowned Professor of International Trade in the prestigious Delhi School of Economics of the University of Delhi, a distinguished Statesman, Dr. Manmohan Singh has left an indelible mark in the historical timeline of our Great Nation by his remarkable efforts in introducing the economic reforms of our Nation as the Finance Minister of India during 1991 to 1996. As the Prime Minister of India for two terms from 2004 to 2014, Dr. Manmohan Singh has upheld highest standards in transparency & governance for overall growth and development of our Nation.

 

The University fraternity extends heartfelt condolences to his family.
