क्यूएस एशिया यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग 2026 में डीयू ने की 10.7% की उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि
The University of Delhi has demonstrated significant progress in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, achieving an overall score of 68.5, up from 61.9 last year, a notable 10.7% improvement.
Despite a sharp rise in the number of participating institutions - 1,526 in 2026 compared to 984 in 2025 - the University continues to feature prominently among Asia’s top 100 universities.
University of Delhi now ranks among the top 6.2% of Asian universities, surpassing 93.8% of all institutions in the region, up from 91.8% last year.
The University recorded substantial gains across major indicators: Academic Reputation rose to 91.1, Employer Reputation to 86.1, Staff with PhD to 94.7, and Papers per Faculty to 87.7. Its International Research Network score also climbed to 99.4, highlighting DU’s expanding global collaborations and high research output.
Professor Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, said this strong performance in the QS Asia Rankings 2026 reflects the University’s collective commitment to academic excellence, impactful research, and global engagement. It validates the progress made under the Institution of Eminence (IoE) framework and our vision to position Delhi University among the world’s leading universities.
These results reaffirm the University of Delhi’s standing as a premier institution of higher learning in Asia, known for its academic depth, research quality, and international relevance.
