A seminar on "Wearable Technologies: Advancing Innovation through Standards", was jointly organized by the **Electronics & Information Technology Department (LITD), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Institute of Informatics & Communication, University of Delhi South Campus, on 17 June 2026 at the S.P. Jain Auditorium, University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi. The seminar brought together eminent dignitaries, policymakers, academicians, researchers, industry experts, and innovators to discuss the rapidly evolving landscape of wearable technologies and the critical role of standards in driving innovation, safety, reliability, interoperability, and security. The event featured insightful deliberations on emerging areas such as wearable electronics, e-textiles, printable electronics, health monitoring systems, diagnostics, and patient care technologies.
