The Centre for Independence and Partition Studies (CIPS), in collaboration with the Office of the Dean Student Welfare, organized an educational excursion to the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi, on Tuesday, 25 March 2026, with a group of 35 students admitted under the orphan quota in the various Colleges of the University of Delhi, accompanied by faculty members and University officials. The visit was conducted under the guidance of CIPS Chairperson Prof. Ravi Prakash Tekchandani, Director Prof. Ravindra Kumar, and Joint Director Prof. Jyoti Trehan Sharma, along with members of the functional committee and the technical expert.
The Chairperson, the Director, the Joint Director, and all other accompanying faculty members also got an opportunity to meet the PMML Director, Sh. Ashwani Lohani. A copy of the Annual Report of CIPS and a University memento were also presented to him. He has assured of academic collaborations with the Centre in the near future.The CIPS conveys its gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh for his consistent encouragement and support to the activities of the Centre, along with the Registrar, Dr. Vikas Gupta and the Finance Officer, Sh. Girish Ranjan.
